PDF Render Engine
Reprointelligence RIrender-HS (CPU)
Hyper-Scalable, Ultra-Performant PDF-to-CMYK Contone Render Engine with full Color Management and Output Calibration Support
RIrender-HS (CPU) is Reprointelligence’s latest PDF to CMYK contone render engine, combining advanced rasterizer, color server, and process calibration features. RIrender-HS (CPU) is built to meet the requirements of industrial, digital printing machine providers who need a cost-efficient, yet powerful and scalable rasterizing system. Based on the industry-proven technologies of our classic RIrender, RIrender-HS (CPU) is stripped and tuned to the needs of throughput-demanding single-pass digital mass print production systems.
Tuned to Performance, easy to Integrate
RIrender-HS (CPU) is a CLI application streamlined to deliver only the essential components and features, specifically designed for CMYK printing. Through careful optimization, we’ve eliminated unnecessary dependencies to keep the resulting binary as small as possible. The code is engineered to leverage modern CPU cache efficiently, delivering fast execution performance. Its statically linked binary weighs just 5 MB, making it ideal for dynamic, cloud-based load-balancing or in-house multi-node render-configurations. As a monolithic CLI-program, RIrender-HS (CPU) includes all necessary features and functions to operate in parallel across multiple cores, worker instances and server nodes. No library integration or manual coding required to get the system running. This allows system integrators to avoid complex threading tasks and focus entirely on the automation pipeline.
Simple control syntax and easy-to-grep process-status indication make integrating RIrender-HS (CPU) as convenient and error-free as possible.
Application Recommendations GPU vs. CPU Variants of RIrender-HS
Multi, parallel PDF Rendering:
For applications where performant and resource-efficient parallel job rendering is desired, RIrender-HS-Vulcan is the right choice.
Fast single PDF Rendering:
RIrender-HS (CPU) shines in applications where fast rendering of one PDF file rendering at a time is desired.
